Jeb is out of the governor's office. Now that is what I call a plan of succession! First Jeb as VP and then its "JEB08."

3. politically
it would make sense -- if cheney left -- to promote condi to VP. It gives her more credibility as a presidential candidate (conservative dream come true) and also may make some people (like in Tennessee) forget how often the GOP plays the race card.
