Bush: Iraq violence part of al-Qaida plot
"No question it's tough, no question about it," Bush said at a news conference with Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves. "There's a lot of sectarian violence taking place, fomented in my opinion because of the attacks by al-Qaida causing people to seek reprisal."

I am so tired of Bush making excuses for this war first it was WMD than Saddam Hussien now its Al-Qaida. When will this man ever admit to what a total disaster he has made of Iraq. Bush was told before he went in that the chances of a civil war was possible.

1. Then Silverspoon Fell Right Into Al Qaeda's Trap

Since there was minimal sectarian violence there before, and since he says Al Qaeda plotted this, it would have to mean that the only way the plot would work was for Bin Laden to fool Bush into attacking Iraq. Which Bush did! Which means he got played by Al Qaeda. Gee, he must be so proud!

2. Wasn't there someone claiming that right before we invaded...
Iraq Bush didn't know about there being two sects in Iraq. He supposedly made the comment that he thought they were all muslims. Now he has learned a new phrase "sectarian violence", too bad he didn't know that phrase before he invaded.

3. Ya.
If we magically got rid of whatever's calling itself Al Qaeda in Iraq (or is it "in Mesopotamia" this week?) then everything would just be lovely.
