Washington, D.C. (AHN) - The U.S. military will pay up to $50,000 for information leading to the safe return of Army Reserve Spc. Ahmed Kousay Altaie, 41, who was kidnapped Oct. 23 in Baghdad.
The Pentagon says the search for Altaie continues. Army Gen. George W. Casey Jr., commander of Multinational Force Iraq (MNFI), says the U.S. is working with Iraqi forces for a swift recovery.
Army Maj. Gen. William Caldwell, MNFI spokesman, says, "We have fairly good information that tells us where we think he could still be held and who perhaps may have him."
According to the Pentagon, troops have conducted 51 search operations, based on 328 tips that have poured in since Altaie's abduction. Those raids netted 35 suspects, most still being detained because they are providing valuable information.

It's quite odd that we don't hear much about that. Or that we didn't hear from the captures. :(
