An Apology in order

This vet says he is sorry for going off . I said the DU did not support the troops. Wrong a little PTSD kicked in. It was one person who said veterans and the troops where animals. So to those this vet Offended I am very sorry. I hope you will forgive and old vet when his PTSD kicks in.

3. I have PTSD. Know where you're coming from.

Sometimes it's hard for others to understand how it can affect the things we think and do. Then there's the memory lapses. And the weird avoidance of all kinds of things that are unpleasant reminders. And all the rest of the icky stuff that comes out when PTSD goes off.

Anyone who thinks PTSD is no big deal doesn't know what they're talking about. I feel for all the guys who are coming home from Iraq with a big dose of it.
