7. If W said "the earth is flat", 1 in 4 USicans would automatically agree |

What's more, every conservative radio talker would start babbling about how "round earth is just an unproven theory", "there's as much evidence for a flat earth as there is for a round earth", "embracing san-francisco-round-earth values would devastate our economy", and so on.
Ann Coulter would write a book about hateful round-earthers discriminating against morally upright flat-earth supporters, and how the flat earth is unjustly shut out of our public discourse by tax & spend liberals, gay hollywood elitists, and illegal immigrants.
Over at Faux News, Bill OhReally would launch a new segment about the "secular-progressive war against flatness", Sean Hannity would berate the meek Colmes about his unpatriotic crumbling to round-earth pressures, and Cavuto would display great concern regarding the burgeoning of unaffordable and treasonous round-earth opinions.
CNN's own Glenn Beck would declare that while he understands round-earthers' concerns and agrees with them on some issues, he can't help but wonder why they hate America.
Thomas Friedman would write a lengthy editorial piece that would be picked up by every major print daily entitled "FLAT, FLAT I TELL YOU!"
Evangelical fundamentalists would rise up across the nation, egged on by TBN/CBN/700-Club propaganda, to demand that flat-earth ideas be given equal time in science classrooms. They would spawn research organizations devoted to proving that the earth is flat, and merely appears round to those not inspired by God's Grace.
Etcetera, etcetera, you get the idea.
