Poll question: POLL: Would the Shrub ever confront Saddam face to face? |
|
Also, please post why you think that he would or wouldn't?

The only way that gutless POS will confront him is when Saddam is already dead.

That will be the only petty feeling of vindication that * gets to feel as regards his leading TWO nations to the brink of destruction.
Strike that last part. Iraq already HAS been utterly destroyed. I certainly hope that the U.S. isn't next.

3. No. Certainly not on any kind of equal terms. |
|
I could image Bush seeing a bound Saddam, unable to respond.

6. I certainly wouldn't preclude a scenario such as you describe... |
|
But still, do you think that one day Dubya will feel the need to look directly at the ONE arguably positive result of his grand misadventure?
I think that his ego will demand no less.

4. Not without one of those full-body "Hannibal Lecter" restraints |

Even then, he'd need a change of underwear.

5. Sure. They'd have drinks, maybe grill a couple of steaks on the BBQ |

and talk Dictator shit. I don't really see the two as that far apart on most of the basics. The Bushes have used Saddam in much the same they used America - it's just business. I'm sure Saddam understands that. Saddam probably admires George in some ways - of course they are "enemies", but that's just how this particular deal went down. It's mostly PR with these types. No hard feelings...

7. No, because he's scared shitless that |
|
Saddam would ask, "How's my old friend Rumsfeld?" and a certain photo might finally appear in the corporate press leaving the bewildered masses to ponder "Why is Rummy shaking Saddam's hand?"

He talks tough while other people do the fighting.
I hoped that he would take up Saddam's challenge to a duel. Sad that Bush didn't live up to his hollywood western fantasy image.
