Word GAMES, Iraq CIVIL WAR --
IT's ridiculous that the administration is continueing their wordsmithing about CIVIL WAR. Let's just call it "Mayhem" or "the dead zone" or something.

Either way, lots of links at that link.

1. This is an administration that understands the power of being able to "frame"
issues. (I.e., "inheritance tax" becomes "death tax," and many other examples.) They get in a snit when someone other than themselves uses words in an unapproved way.

3. One reason is that if Iraq is in a civil war, our strategy is wrong
Sorry, don't have a link, I heard it on AAR yesterday.

In a civil war, you don't want to be training the Army and handing out weapons to the Iraqi's. I just love WH responses, it isn't a civil war because it is on *'s agenda to talk to Maliki about. Geez, talk about twisted logic.
