So is Gore running or not?
Not a peep from his camp so far, correct? If he is mulling it over (seriously), is it a good idea to keep so quiet about it? As the Hillary juggaurnaut and Obama-Rising suck up most of the oxygen... shouldn't potential Dem big-money donors get a heads-up before they commit to others?

President Gore sounds right to me.

5. He said no on the radio the other day
He said something along the lines of "I can't imagine myself being a candidate again," or words to that effect. Granted that's not an outright no, but he's pretty consistently denied any interest in a run.

I don't know how current the interview was.

6. Its been a pretty consistent
affirmative no. I did see one article a couple of months back that he called some of his big donors inquiring about their interest in him running, however that is the only thing I've seen that suggests he is even contemplating it.

7. I haven't heard Al say an outright "NO", but he hasn't exactly said there's
a possibility, either. I honestly don't think he knows at this point, and there's plenty of time for him to make a decision. Plus, he's doing so many good things right now I'd hate to have him change his focus to something else, although if he did get elected (for a second time), and actually got to serve as President, he could do a lot of wonderful things for the environment and start undoing some of the damage wrought upon us by the BFEE.

8. It's way early to be so concerned about such things.
Momentum rises and falls rather quickly in politics.

9. Gosh I hope so!
I don't know what chance he'll have against Hillary and/or Obama.

10. He won't run if he has to "run."
I don't think he would put himself through a long campaign where he will be ripped apart by the media which is still controlled by the Powers that Be and the Repugs.

He would step in if none of the Dem Candidates seem to be gaining traction.

Having been burned...he doesn't need to deal with trivialities like "wearing earth tones" or "Swift Boat III Lies."

He will only come in if there's a strong opportunity. I think he's got people lined up if he wants to come in...and he has "US" out here who want our real President restored. It's up to us.

11. I'm not getting my hopes up, but...
...I think there's a good possibility that he may get swept into it by sheer momentum.
