Republicans Hijack VA Funding
Tom Coburn, Jim DeMint and Jeff Sessions effectively stopped veterans funding package making it dead in the water. What does that mean for veterans.

1- Dramatic cuts in medical care
2- Delayed or denied care
3- Longer waiting lines to see a doctor
4- Shortages in needed health care staff
5- Delays in nursing home programs
6- No improvements in State Veterans Nursing Homes
7- Cuts in vital VA Medical Research
8- More unacceptable claims and huge back logs
9- Denied care for returning troops with PTSD
10- Cuts in family care units

So who supports the troops and veterans hint not the Republicans.

15. Liars and traitors indeed.
How does anyone justify disregarding the health care and well being of those who put their lives on the line to protect our country so that the richest 1% can get multiple wartime tax cuts? For them to then have the nerve to claim they support our troops is simply unconscionable.

4. Time for the veterans of this country to stand up and get VERY
vocal. And they need to put the blame right where it belongs. The republican party. They'd rather give tax breaks to the uber-rich than money to the men and women who end up actually defending our country.

Bizarro World, that's what it is. It's just not what I grew up thinking of as America anymore.

when they say that "Democrats are going to defund the war"--they can retort that Democrats may defund the war..but the Republicans have already defunded the troops.

I have noticed that my appointments are getting scheduled on average 1 1/2 away instead of a week or two.

20. Talk about sore losers.
We can restore this package as soon as we get back into office, so the pukes have won a pyrrhic victory for a sum total of two months. PLUS, they just handed us an issue that crosses party lines.

Dumbasses.

There is no greater traitor to the American military than the average Republican politician. It is about high-time that we taught the American people and the military that fact. These guys cannot keep running for cover behind the flag.
