Who's next to announce that they are absolutely, positively NOT going to run for POTUS in 2008?

1. I'm not sure Hillary Clinton will run |
|
I also think John Kerry will ultimately decide against running.

2. Wow -- that's a really surprising prediction |
|
Care to elaborate? I left Hil off because I thought she was a shoo-in to run. Same for McCain, Obama and Rudy.

10. Today on one of the talk shows |
|
and I don't know which one because I was changing channels they were talking about Iowa and it was mentioned that Hillary has done nothing in Iowa, no preparation, nothing. I guess the other candidates at least have some boot on the ground in Iowa.
Speculation was that she would not run if Obama ran.
We shall see.

8. agreed. same with Condi, Kerry, and several others on that list. |
|
Obama, Tommy Thompson, Bayh, Clark, Sanitorium, McCain, and Brownback will be running.
I am not sure about Gore, either. He probably will sit out and continue to do really good work outside of the Bloatway.

Finishing behind the chimp in a likability poll can't be good for anyone's ego.

I think Newt, who is malicious but not quite as dumb as his peers, might have a moment of clarity and realize he doesn't have a snowball's chance. Of course it may be overruled by his ego, who knows.

Didn'he already drop out?
Beyond that, Ahm Al Gore never 'dropped in' and has not said he is running yet. So, he can't 'drop out' of something he is not in. My guess would be John Edwards.

6. most of these people have not announced yet |
|
At this point, it's just speculation as to who's running. But all of the folks listed above will have to give SOME answer on their candidacy Real Soon Now.

7. I was SO looking forward to a Fristy run |
|
Woulda been great seeing Fristy diagnose Schiavo via vidoetape again and again.
But America's gain is late night comedians'loss. And probably his patients' loss as well, as he is threatening to go back into practice.
