So far I've heard the MSM discussing the missed meeting with al Maliki, BUT
I am not hearing about the BIGGER news - that Al-Sadr is no longer co-operating with the Iraq government and the news about Al-Talibani's agreement with Iran.

Is anyone hearing a more complete discussion than I have and on what station (TV)?

2. I'm waiting for the network news.....
to hear their take on things. I want to see if the "snub" "change-of-plans" "courtesy call" story will be analyzed. They sent their top gun anchors to report on the momentous meeting and whoopsiedaisy, no meeting today, come back tomorrow.

The chimp was treated like an unwelcome salesman, let him wait.

4. No and even with all the reports about the canceled meeting
they are prefacing the entire report with the phrase "We are being told by WH spokespeople". I don't ever remember hearing them frame it quite that way, at least not at the beginning of the report. They might slip it in in the middle or toward the end, but it almost sounds as if it is an upfront disclaimer before they actually tell the story ... and then throw up in their mouths just a bit for having to do it in the first place. These reports don't appear to be sitting well with those that have been following and reporting on this administration at all. The framing and posturing is quite different with this story, don't you think?
