i saw a friend of family that has 4 SONS in the army
Edited on Wed Nov-29-06 05:51 PM by seabeyond
i asked how all were doing. only three sons were in, but the last joined recently. she is sick with fear. she said she wasnt worried about two because they were computer geeks and wouldnt be in harms way, but the oldest is in baghdad. and i just started crying. i said, "do you know what is happening in baghdad, of course you do, but just today..."

she said she didnt, she couldnt know, refuses the news, wants to hear nothing

this oldest was wounded seriously a year ago and she had to fly to germany, and he has now been sent back. his wife had a baby with all kinds of problems because the wife had gotten preg after this man had gotten some shot.... and didnt know they were suppose to wait on getting preg. she is scared to death to have another baby and she is only like 21. this baby has to be in a sterilized environment at all times, not to mention all the operations and kidney problems. and here this man, sheri's son.... is back in baghdad.

she asked us to pray for him. she said she was sending a care package soon, and we could add some stuff. my kids can at least do that, and write a nice letter to chad.

breaks my heart

and i am feeling a little guilty that out of the blue i went into a cry. i never cry. but it hit me so hard.

so i am sharing with you all, to help get this yuk feeling out of me.

i have been kissing on my boys for an hour now, in between threatening them with death if they EVER joined the military.

1. Sending a hug to you.......
we need a president who CARES enough to do whatever it takes to make sure the decisions made are just and wise and only if absolutely necessary.

7. i was so proud of the one that didnt join. he was the one
caught with the pot. the dad made him take it to the police and face the repercussion. i would tell her yea for my little pot smoker. i think that was as great of a disappointment that he joined. the father is marine. that is the expection in that family. i dont know how she stays sane, to be honest.
