1. Still Bush, unfortunately.

USA has a grip on the world's economy like nobody else. Its air force is unchallengable. Its space presence, if it chooses, can be unquestionable. Its military is more or less undefeatable in conventional combat, though it has no idea how to handle an asymmetric war.
