Iran To Host Holocaust Conference In December

Tehran, Iran (AHN)-Iran announces that it will be holding a conference on December 11-12 to discuss "hidden angles" of the Holocaust, an event organized by the ministry's Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS).

According to a statement on the Iranian foreign ministry's website, the conference, titled "Study of Holocaust: A Global Perspective," aims to "create opportunities ... for a suitable scientific research so the hidden and unhidden angles of this most important political issue of the 20th century become more transparent."

....Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has drawn international ire for his fiery anti-Israeli rhetoric, maintains that the Holocaust was a myth used to justify the creation of Israel. Ahmadinejad claims the conference, which has been scheduled to coincide with international Human Rights Day, will enable participants to discuss such topics as "anti-Semitism, Nazism and Zionism: collaboration or animosity; as well as "The laws against those who deny Holocaust and killing of the Palestinians."

Meanwhile, Britain's Ambassador to Israel, Tom Phillips called the conference "off the wall," telling Ynetnews, "This is the first I've heard about this conference" adding that, "it's clearly not a conference we would want to have anything to do with."

The Iranian prez says the Holocaust is a myth.

He organizes a bunch of cartoonists to lampoon the Holocaust -- playing off the Mohammad cartoon flap.
His plan flops. The Danish Newspaper that published the Mohammad pictures publishes the Holocaust pictures and there's no boycott (or even mild outrage) by the Jewish communities in Europe.

People see this guy for what he is...the mouth that roared. He's a biggoted, hate-filled, big mouth who, if scrub had kept his mouth shut about an axis of evil and had stayed out of Iraq, probably never would have been President of Iran.
