8. Iraq's NOT a war we can win. Must focus on the political aspect.
He did say he wants us to work through the diplomatic and political aspects of the situation before we leave. Said if we left first, it would be putting the cart before the horse. Makes sense. :thumbsup:

9. In my estimation, Clark is the strongest potential 08 candidate we
have out there besides Gore to head a ticket. I would support Clark wholeheartedly since I believe that we need someone with some expertise to repair the damage to the military and to purge the neocons from it. He is knowledgeable about the military and has a good grasp of the role of diplomacy and the need to seek the peace. Just because a man has worn a uniform, doesn't mean that they are not men who can seek peace.

He said he's so involved in the policies of what's going in the world, the politics is secondary.
