My take on the malaki snub of the schrub
is that the whitehouse had info that told them that al sadr was going to deflect from the al-Maliki government if he met with the dumb one so they leak their internal memo of how schrub thought he is incompetent so as to have something to fall back on in case al sadr went through with his threat which he did, so the schrubCo float the thought that maybe it was the memo not al sadr that made al-Maliki snub the schrub

its called damage control

1. That's as plausible as any theory...
I'm also wondering what, if any, Cheney's visit to the Saudis had to do with any of this?

2. Yeah--wouldn't you have loved to have been a
little mouse with big ears on Cheney's trip? Something is happening. Hopefully, some of you can figure it out or give your conjectures.

3. Cheney does the real wheeling and dealing.
Bush's antics are just a decoy. Don't watch the flashing lights. Watch the shadows around them.

5. That's true, and I think they are not working in concert at this point..
Poppy took the car keys from the chimp, so Cheney is out on his own now with no cover.

6. You bet, and the fingers are only now being pointed
lots of fingers and lots of directions to point. If it wasn't so serious it would be the funniest thing most of us would ever witness. The fall of the bush* family evil empire.
Its a shame so many have to suffer for that to be though.

8. That's why we needed to have control of Congress.
Conyers, et al. will now be able to ask some important questions, if not of Cheney himself, of his aids and the cabinet members and staff who will implement whatever schemes he is concocting.

10. The only problem is...
SCOTUS has already given Cheney a lot of rope in their refusal to force him to turn over his energy task force documents. Let's hope he eventually hangs himself.
