Uh-oh - Bill O'Reilly is on to our sinister plot.....
http://mediamatters.org/items/200611290011

O'Reilly declared that "secular-progressives" want "out-of-wedlock birth in the USA" to be "at record highs"
On the November 27 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, The Radio Factor, host Bill O'Reilly highlighted an upcoming segment of the program on "wins" and "losses" in the "culture war" by claiming "out-of-wedlock birth in the USA at record highs, which the S-Ps want."

Media Matters for America has documented numerous examples of O'Reilly's attacks on what he calls "secular-progressives," as well as dubious claims about who qualifies as such. For example, on the November 14 edition of Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor, during a discussion about immigration, O'Reilly declared that the Vatican has a "secular-progressive[]" philosophy, stating, "I think it is a one-world philosophy that a lot of secular-progressives ... really believe, that no country has a right to ban anybody or stop anybody from doing anything." Also, on the October 18 edition of The Radio Factor during a segment about former President Jimmy Carter, O'Reilly claimed that "secular-progressives become dangerous when they start to talk about the terror war," and immediately added that Carter "isn't really a secular-progressive because he's a man of faith" but then claimed that Carter's foreign policy "is a secular-progressive foreign policy." In an October 18 interview with President Bush, O'Reilly stated: "The secular-progressives don't like you because you're a man of faith. ... They think you are some kind of evangelical, who -- God tells you what to do, and you go out and do it. And they hate that."

<<<<snip>>>>

O'REILLY: A couple of wins in the culture war, but there's also a couple of losses too. A couple of things happened that are very disturbing, including out-of-wedlock birth in the USA at record highs, which the S-Ps want. You gotta understand the thinking here. We're gonna get into that as well.

1. People are supposed to have pity on the mentally handicapped.
In this guys case they give him his own show.

That's real compassion.

2. OK, Bill. You're on to me. Now how about removing the word "bastard"
from the English language as each baby is legitimate in its right to be once it's born.

And hey Bill. You can't have it both ways. If you aren't prochoice, then welcome each baby as he/she/they arrive(s).

13. The word "bastard" can be quite useful.
If we stop using it for innocent babies, we'll still find many suitable targets.

Like Bill.

3. Stupid question
Wouldn't banning abortion, the morning after pill, or any other birth control measure make the number of out-of-wedlock births skyrocket? Yet, wouldn't that also be a "victory" in the asinine culture war?

12. So let me see if I get this straight:
Evil Secular Progressives (who Bill calls SP's, he needs the abbreviation to save time, because he is so fixated on them) want to increase the number of out-of-wedlock births, WHILE wanting to increase the number of abortions....

Hmm...

love Jimmy Carter. So do all the other "secular-progressives" I know. We love Jimmy.
So there.
By the way, I'm not really sure what a "secular-progressive" is. I just know that if Bill hates them, then I'm one.

19. Wrongo, Mr Bill!
When our big gay agenda has its way, america's children will be having so much WILD GAY SEX , they wont have enough energy or will to produce offspring via hetero coupling.
When the population stagnates, America can be easily taken over by the communists , who, even now lie in wait.

21. And in Bill O'Reilly swoops....

Seriously, I think we should all write Bill O'Reilly a LOT of crazy e-mails. The e-mails should all be modeled after his stereotype of "S-P's", complete with wild declarations and strange symbols. Drive him the rest of the way over the edge. It is only a matter of time before he lunges at one of his guests with a pen or starts rolling his turds into little balls in the closet.

The guy is insane...seriously. Sorry for the imagery.

states with high church attendance have the highest non-marital birth numbers.

I don't have a link, but we've all seen the charts. The rural South is gonna lead the way.

The rural South ain't exactly S-P country.

30. some statistics for you
Liberal bastion Massachusetts has lowest divorce rate in the nation; followed by mainly blue states… red states have the highest rates:

http://www.boston.com/news/globe/editorial_opinion/oped/articles/2004/10/31/walking_the_walk_on_family_values/

http://0-www.cdc.gov.mill1.sjlibrary.org/nchs/data/nvss/divorce90_04.pdf

Addtionally – atheists have a lower divorce rate than any religious group, while conservative & born again Christians have the highest rate:

http://www.religioustolerance.org/chr_dira.htm

Legalization of abortion has led to a decline in illegitimate births:
http://links.jstor.org/sici?sici=0039-3665(197311)4%3A11%3C281%3ATEOLAO%3E2.0.CO%3B2-Z

Out-of-wedlock birth rates highest in red states as well:
