As a current member and Board member of IBofB (International Brotherhood of Buffoons) I can personally assert that Mr. Wallace applied for, and was denied membership in the IBofB. He is neither a dues-paying member nor an affiliate of any of our Lodges.

Stating the Mr. Wallace is a Buffoon is an affront to Buffoons everywhere. We Buffoons do have standards, you know.

It was a unanimous straight up and down negative vote taken by the IBofB Board, and the reason given that Mr. Wallace was refused membership was we felt that he does not display the higher intellectual functions we require as opposed to those evidenced by him on a daily basis.

We did notify him of his rejection by our Brotherhood, but did direct him to the Society of Dim-Witted Babbling Nonsense Spewers, International, as we heard that they were looking for members of his caliber.

Unfortunately, we later heard that they didn't want him, either.

12. Next October I'm going to start railing away about the War on Halloween

When I was a kid we wore our Halloween costumes to school on Halloween. We had a parade down the hall and parties in all the classrooms. Then the fundies had to start complaining that Halloween was some satanic holiday and *poof*, no more Halloween celebrations or costumes at school.

Then the fundies started hosting "Harvest Parties" at their churches on October 31 instead of participating in traditional, all-American Halloween festivities like trick-or-treating. Pretty soon the annual city-sponsored party was changed to a "Harvest Party" so as not to offend the fundies.

This War on Halloween has got to stop. My kids should be able to celebrate Halloween at school or wherever they want. Our city-sponsored party should revert back to a Halloween party. The fundies are ruining Halloween for everyone! Why aren't they talking about this war on all the talk shows? Stop the War on Halloween!
