I too have a dream.
I dreamed that Americans united for the good of all and blessed the ones who by sheer diligence and hard work made it a little further up the ladder of society. Where we worked to lift the little old lady or little young man or whomever, up out of despair and allow them to enjoy the fruits of a civilized country. Where we went to bed at night allowing those who pray pray and those who don't not. Where a person could take care of his families needs without having to miss out on most of it due to working two jobs etc. Where one must not have to worry if their medical needs would be met or to be castoff to die, cold. Where money is not a measure of ones worth but a testament to their drive. where love is taught as sure as hate is felt. where we come together for the common good of all first. where we all share love, after all love is felt by all and shared by many.

1. Brother, I'm afraid that is a dream.
A fabulous, impossible dream. All too many measure wealth by money & power, they will do anything to obtain it, as long as that is the way of this world, things shall never change. We have had this dream for upward of forty years now have we not? And we really are not one bit closer to achieving our goals, we have accomplished cosmetic changes, but while the right hand accedes to our demands, the left hand has been busy subverting those changes. I despair of meaningful change in my lifetime. I fully expect to see things worse upon my death than they were upon my birth.

I am sorry, you have such a positive message of hope and here I am full of negativity. I wish it was not so.

4. Yes that is but just a dream and what you say it true but today I have hope
as hope is what I have the most of. Your message is grounded in reality whereas mine is but a figment of my imagination, both is as right as they are wrong but dreams are what futures are built on. And futures I must build for my time is mostly gone to never be again. Today I propose a toast to you for being here at the same place as me after having taken different paths to arrive at this point in time. My Friend

2. It can happen
It starts with one person changing their attitude towards money and towards what really matters in society-and it grows from there. Many share your dream.

3. Their attitude towards money shall be changed soon.
The Dollar is about to suffer quite seriously. The impact upon the present lavish American lifestyle of excess can be expected to be quite dramatic and cause some reevaluation of our values.

5. And the Church of the Almighty Dollar comes tumbling down...
that oughta level the playing field a bit, but, as always, raise the repression. "Reevaluation" ain't the half of it!
