I was too tired this morning to say anything coherent, but this is one amazing collection of blog posts. We had over 40 submissions for our first anniversary edition and it was hard to choose just ten. In the end I went with "big picture" kinds of posts -- posts that I thought addressed large scale issues relevant to liberal thought today. Naturally the culture wars figured prominently, but this is an eclectic mix. Well worth spending an hour or two reading through these thoughtful and occasionally quite personal posts.

The next CotL will be at on December 20th at Living the Scientific Life. If you have a blog that addresses political and social issues from a liberal perspective then you should consider hosting an upcoming edition of Carnival of the Liberals.
