inspired me to bring up the subject about natural energy renewal. We're sitting on the answer. It's been there all along. After eating legumes(beans) what do you have? A lot of gas, right? Forget the Beano! Just catch it in a bottle when it comes out. A pootie receptacle, I guess. Now if they do things with cow farts, why can't we use our own as a sustainable energy of some kind??? I know-Hardee har har-but has anyone looked into it, or does the idea stink?

if you hooked up any given state legislature to a gas collector. And let's not forget school boards.

There's a sewage treatment plant in upstate NY that captures the gases from the sewage and uses it to power one of its pumps. I wrote an article about it earlier this year. Link to 2004 press release about it: http://www.nyserda.org/Press_Releases/PressRelease.asp?i=55&d=2004
