The New York Post Crosses The Line With "Surrender Monkeys" Cover
Click here to see the cover, which appeals to the Sean Hannity crowd, but doesn't help anyone.

15. Personally I prefer headlines like "Headless Body in a Topless Bar"
That's a Post I can relate to.

But I just might buy this edition for my collection of tabloid headlines.

8. Hmmmm.....
The first time for years that u.s. foreign policy starts to look at least semi-rational and it is greeted by this.

The Murdoch scum at the Post have put some thought into this, this cover is not done lightly, and they know that they are able to shape the opinions of some people.

If Murdoch is taking this view of things and acting in such this way, I think maybe he has 'gone rogue' mentally (assuming he wasn't always) and needs to be treated accordingly.

10. (From british politics) reminds me of
"....On the day of the 1992 election, The Sun ran a famous front page featuring Kinnock (headline: "If Kinnock wins today, will the last person to leave Britain please turn out the lights") that he blamed in his resignation speech for losing Labour the election."

13. This is business as usual for that despicable rag.

This is Rupert Murdoch's concept of "journalism" at its best.

Reading the letters to the editor is like reading those horrible
snippets from freerepublic that people post here. It is geared to
the lowest rung of the intellectual ladder in our society.

But they have a great sports section.

18. exactly
anyone who criticizes the NYT as "treasonous" for running leaked memos, which often show that the bush administration is saying one thing and doing something else, should look at this cover and ask who really is standing up for the U.S.

this is the worst kind of yellow journalism.

16. Pathetic. When will they come to terms with reality?
What is it, 58% of Americans say it's time to get out now?
The military has been saying it for years.

Middle East experts say it's a disaster that has nowhere to go but down into utter chaos.

And the career intelligence community.... well, they thought it was a joke to begin with, but were overruled.

Now, hand-picked former cheerleaders for the war are now coming out against it? Even Rummy backtracked on "stay the course" to salvage even a shred of dignity.

And the NYP still ridicules the idea of withdrawing?

I wonder what color the sky is in their world?
