Cut and Run Replug Congress set to go home and leave VA without Budget

The Do- Nothing- Congress 109th Congress is living up to their name. They're packing their bags and slinking out of town leaving the VA without a 2007 budget. Now the VA must operate at last year's funding level.

At the time of Larry's posting, the 109th Congress was still in session.

It appears the VA budget will not pass and that Congress will enact a continuing resolution to keep the VA, running until Feb. 15th , but at last year funding level. In other words, the VA will stay critically underfunded and understaffed.

Larry Scott and this vet both know the Presidents 2008 Budget will come out just days after a vote on the 2007 Budget can be taken.

Republican now have no right to say they support the troops or veterans
