Questions for George W. Bush |
|
"Mr. President, You say that we will remain in Iraq until we win the war. My question to you, sir, is could you please define victory for me?"
(Presumed answer)... GWB "I appreciate your question. Victory is when the Iraqi people can choose their own government and secure their own country".
My follow-up..."If that government, freely elected, is dominated by radical, fundamentalist, Muslim extremists with ties to our enemies in Iran, would that satisfy your definition of victory?"
I'll be waiting for his answer

1. I believe Condi said it best last week: a democratically elected pro-US |
|
gov't is what they're looking for. Kinda hard if you keep beating up and killing civilians. But then, if you kill them all, there's no insurgency.

2. He could just as easily say we will never achieve victory? |
|
What will never be said by George is that his administration never had the intention of FULLY pulling troops out. There will always be excuses to keep our bases there. He's actually been phenomenally successful in producing a government that will never be peaceful. Way to go.

I really have been pretty involved in politics for a while. I like second opinions which is why I'm here.
I'm thrilled the "always right" republican party is seeing its policies in action. The only constituency Bush has left is the christian fundamentalist's and the dye-hards. Of-course those are the most scary.
