Tony Soprano to be King of Bacchus next Year (Mardi Gras)
James Gandolfini, the actor who plays Tony Soprano will be King Bacchus at the big Mardi Gras Parade in New Orleans. The parade rolls 18 February. The Parade is one of the monster events of Mardi Gras Season. The debauchery and hedonism ends midnight Fat Tuesday 20 February. All good Catholics then go to confession the next day Ash Wednesday and are good little citizens till Easter. What a country.

1. Here's a pretty good
site maintained by a friend of mine in Algiers:

http://www.mardigras.org/

She does a great job in keeping up with the schedules and routes.
