Rapist preys on men in Baytown
(12/26/06 - BAYTOWN, TX) - A rapist who has struck at least five times since April in and around Baytown has not only spread fear in this working-class community but also piqued the interest of those who study the criminal mind.

The reason: He preys on other men.

That makes him something of a rarity in the world of crime.

"It's the least prevalent kind of serial rape, and largely underreported," said Jack Levin, a leading criminologist and director of the Brudnick Center on Violence at Northeastern University in Boston.

1. What, no jokes about prison rape this time around?
You rape lovers are slacking today. Where are all the "Bubba the cellmate", "soap in the shower" and "reach around" jokes? Or does that only apply when the rapist rapes women? Just wondering...

2. Yeah the pro-prison rape users are disgusting to say the least.
And those who say "I don't support it but I look the other way" are just as bad. They hide behind their warped view of justice.

If you support prison rape, you are a sick son of a bitch.

6. I'm sure there are more out there.
I'm also sure that they don't usually get press. And as with this one case, men are very unlikely to admit they've been raped.

I used to volunteer in a anti-rape advocacy organization and we knew first hand that men get raped. In fact, it seemed like some rapists don't care the gender of who they rape. It's about who they hate, not who they lust after.
