Would you be in favor of national holiday for Cindy?
I have seen a lot of glowing words about Cindy sheehan here, especially lately.

Would you be in favor of her receiving the high honor of a national holiday named after her like Dr. King and other great Americans?

2. A bit premature there, don't you think?
Yes, she's a great American hero. But I think she'd rather the focus be on Casey and the other soldiers who died needlessly in Iraq.

4. No.
I would be in favor of a Rosa Parks National Day. Cindy does fantastic work and I am highly respectful of her, but not a National Holiday. Just my opinion. :hi:

5. You can't be serious?
Not knocking Cindy, but let's reserve national holidays for real national hero's.

So far all she has managed to do is keep the spotlight on the bush machine.

7. How about the day of Casey's death
this is what it has been all about. One woman, One Mother, One Voice, who has reached so many and brought forth a huge reaction to this false war.....

She is a wonderful woman, but there have been many great anti-war leaders in our history. She is certainly the face and voice of the Iraqi War anti-war movement.

I wouldn't object to a holiday honoring all our service people (but we already have one).

If her life's work resonates across the country and across the decades, and after she has shuffled off this mortal coil, someone can suggest it again.
