A picture worth a thousand words (or 3,000 dead troops)

NYTimes home page has this picture up accompanying the story Bush Discusses Iraq Options With Top Advisers

Doesn't look to me like Bush's 4 advisers see any good ending to Iraq.
The chimp man is the only one still with a game face on, and even his is all but gone.
I mean, just look at Pace (on the right)... really sad. And I am not sad for them.

and of course, here are the pictures they area all too familiar with, and
no doubt fear a re-enactment of:

3. Holiday or no holiday
I wish the Leader of the most powerful nation in the history of the world (or at least we were) would wear a tie when he appears on our behalf!
On another note, were I to caption this pic it would be:
"I committed US forces to Iraq because these folks behind me told me too!. Can I help it if it's not working out? Geeze, give a guy a break would ya?"

8. "Working Vacation"
I just read a news clip on Yahoo that said Bush worked "Nearly three hours at his Texas ranch on Thursday to design a new U.S. policy in
Iraq". Wow. Almost three hours! Plenty of time to solve this small problem......

6. Commander AWOL completely unable to face reality
That's what happens when you let a Connecticut preppy cheerleader Deserter, who thinks he is a Texas tough guy war hero, steal the pReidency of your nation.

11. They don't fear "failure in Iraq" - they fear the consequences of what
they are ABOUT to do - with Hussein's execution and the ramping up of war on Iran they will do everything they can to drop a nuclear weapon on Iran - and they fear the consequences of doing it, though they WILL do it if they are not stopped.

Just my opinion...

13. Not a damn one of them's heart is in it anymore, they're in cover your ass mode now
They just don't know what to do. Well I do and first thing is throw their asses in jail while we sort this shit out. No reason to get in a hurry to do something with them because we can take as much time as we want, they do. They all know they've made way too many mistakes for it all to be just passed by.

back to that old cornered rat thing again, damn lets get rid of this bunch of war criminals
