Group believes God is punishing the soldiers because USA accepts homosexuals. :eyes:

Legislation underway to prevent protesting at funerals within 500 feet. Similar legislation was blocked in another state because it violates free speech. I think it will pass in Wisconsin.

I suspect that the reason right-wingers get away with so much of their bullying is because Americans have been conditioned by fear of getting arrested or being treated as criminals. We're just too nice, especially us progressives. If Phelps and his ilk had tried some of their stunts with a Belle Epoque or a Nineteenth century (caucasian) crowd, they'd have been lucky to have been able to crawl away with only three or four broken bones apiece.

Then the Phelps bunch would have been arrested by the local sheriff for vagrancy and for disturbing the peace.
