Dems Can Win Red States: First 100 Hours Should Help Katrina Survivors
Edited on Tue Jan-02-07 11:33 PM by orleans
specifically: the first 100 hours should *include* help to the survivors of hurricane katrina

malloy was just talking to jim yancy regarding the help that is still so desperately needed after 16 MONTHS OF GOP NEGLECT

if we took this on--and people saw the democrats coming to the aid of the citizens of this country who are trying to recover from this disaster i think it would make a HUGE difference.

besides--it's the right thing to do.

here is a website for mississippi help needed:
http://jccsc.org/index.htm

please check it out and see what you can do to help

thanks.

1. The Dems only have to look back into American History
for their roadmap to success in the Gulf Coast....The Dems could stimulate the Gulf Coast not buy importing workers in from foreign countries but to pay Americans from the Region to rebuild their communities and get paid by the State and the Federal Government...

Of all of Roosevelt's New Deal programs, The Works Progress Administration (WPA) is the most famous, because it affected so many people's lives. Roosevelt's vision of a work-relief program employed more than 8.5 million people
For an average salary of $41.57 a month, WPA employees built bridges, roads, public buildings, public parks and airports.
