The Outstanding Public Debt as of 09 Jan 2007 at 03:50:14 PM GMT is:

The estimated population of the United States is 300,671,360
so each citizen's share of this debt is $28,867.07.

The National Debt has continued to increase an average of
$1.70 billion per day since September 29, 2006!

4. If you do the accounting by GAAP, with all the hidden future liabilities
it will come to multiple tens of TRILLIONS, if I remember...
