Senator Clinton shows lack of leadership. |
|
Where is Senator Clinton tonight? Sitting quietly on the fence, keeping her head down, or what? I want a Democratic Party candidate with some OVARIES, and find her silence on the current issue to be the final nail in the coffin of her presidental ambitions.
I really had hope for her for a long time, but this absence from the field of battle is an act of political cowardice that will eliminate her from contention in '08.

Back when we were all basking in the afterglow of the WJC presidency, I really thought she would one day become the first woman president, and loved her for standing by Bill and for her dedication to healthcare reform.
She voted for the IWR and has had ample time to come up with a statement on this latest insanity, or to admit that she blew it big-time on that vote. She hasn't, while other, lesser lights have stepped out with courage and clarity.
I do hope that she can stay in the Senate a long time, but if she can't speak on the war, she hasn't the character to be President.

I understand that this is a very serious situation. But I think it would have given her the moment. I want to see more from her. A late entrance may work at coctail parties. Not now. Now, we need leadership from those wanting to run for president. That's how I see it.

I never said that I hated her, but just like people that disagree with *'s policies you have characterized me as a Hilliary hater. BTW, I phone-banked for her initial NY Senate campaign. I'm sure there's a way you could turn that into me hating her, too.
You Hillary lover, you. :-)
Edited for the Hitlery spelling nazis. (That one always pissed me off. Thanks.)

This is really tiresome. I think there are much larger issues that we could both agree on or debate rather than the qualifications of Hillary Clinton or the spelling of her name. Then again, love is said to blind.

40. She could only do that AFTER someone else did it first. |
|
These days she is only that bold when it is proven to be safe for her career objectives. Please note that I'm not saying she's stupid or that she aspires to be the great Satan. She's become a corporate tool and no longer resembles the Hilary that championed universal healhcare. She wrongly got burned for that leadership and Bill's scandal must have scarred her pretty deeply, too, but I think she portrayed a very noble personae throughout that ordeal.
Unfortunately, I no longer see that leadership potential in her. I think she's bought and sold by the DLC.
Once again, I'm not hating her. I'm not supporting her and trying to explain why that is so.
