Rice is tenacious with her talking points but they aren't letting her get away with it.

4. It is pretty clear that this committee thought Bush's speech last night

was ridiculous. Feingold is up now. Speaking about how the american people are done. He is talking redeployment. He says it is time to use the power of the purse to bring our troops out of Iraq.

From the beginning this war has been a mistake and the policys have been a failure.

Is the united states more secure now than we were before we entered Iraq?"

Rice: I dont want us to confuse what we are doing in Iraq with a short term problem

She is evading him and he is holding on.. but her answers are so long and convoluted that they are not getting anywhere.
