Does Biden see impeachment as his road to the White House?? |
|
He pretty much hinted at it during the end of his hearing with Condi. He also said if Bush attacks Iran there will be a Constitutional Crisis???
Is Biden the one to lead the charge to impeachment???

1. I don't care who leads the charge to impeachment. |
|
I just want SOMEONE to do it. And they will have my support.
After last night's speech, it's apparent that IMPEACHMENT IS THE ONLY OPTION at this point. We will ABSOLUTELY be fighting them over here if we don't reel in this nutcase of a pResident.

Biden is a Senator, and the Senate does not bring impeachment actions - the House does. The Senate will sit as the jury if the House does impeach Shrub, which appears doubtful.

4. That's true, but he may be able to rally the votes in the Senate we need. |

hinting at impeachment. He was very strong with his statement "let me make this clear! You do NOT have the auithority to go into Iraq without the approval of Congress! If you try, it will trigger a Constitutional confrontation in the Senate! I WILL LEAD IT!"
I thought Biden did a great job as Chair of the foreign relations committee. I've lestened tothe first 2 hearings, and I will be listening to the one this afternoon too.

What I got was that if the Prez chooses to continue his pre-emption policy, the Senate's going to be tying his hands so tight he won't be able to scratch his nose without asking...and that will cause it to be the same for future Presidents as well.
