If the Senate passes the bill with veto proof vote?

1. Veto has to be overridden by
both houses -- * may be counting on a less-than-two-thirds majority in the House.

3. the house is only a couple votes shy of two thirds, that would
override his veto. not dead yet. if bush vetos then the house can try to convince a couple voters to vote differently

to override pending the vote by the Senate.

It both the House and Senate get 2/3 majority, then the bill can pass without Shrub's John Hancock.

The vote was 253-174
