What makes georgey cry?
Edited on Fri Jan-12-07 07:00 AM by Philosoraptor
I saw that revolting, indescribably disgusting photo of bush weeping at the medal of honor ceremony for the first fallen officer to receive one in bush's war, and since Vietnam, and a rage boiled up inside me.

What the FUCK was he crying about? What other presidents have gone all weepy at such dignified ceremonies? Is there something sad inside his drug addled brain? Did he like the Grinch suddenly grow a heart size or two?

WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU GOT TO FUCKING CRY ABOUT YOU FUCKING MONSTER?

thanks Greeby!

1. I cannot believe he is crying for any one else but himself.
I think he is quite depressed. Life has been a bit rough
for the poor boy lately.

Oh the weight he must feel in his soul. Yeah, only for himself.

9. Bushies know how to turn on the spigots
Remember Jeb crying in public during the 2000 debacle, because he had just learned... that black people didn't like him? Riiight. Like that would ever drive a Bush to tears. Phonies, the lot of them. Babs is probably the only one who can't weep on cue.

12. Is any one else pissed off that the media failed to mention SOA yesterday?
After the medal ceremony, Bush went to Ft. Benning, Georgia, site of the School of the Americas. I must have heard half a dozen explanations of what the Army does at Ft. Benning, but none of them mentioned that there is a military academy there, let alone that we use that facility to train right-wing South American militants to torture people. Maybe he was crying because he realized how wrong SOA is.

19. My nephew just finished his basic training at Ft. Benning.
He is only 17 and his mom is worried he will end up in Iraq. He is now at Ft. Gordon, also in Alabama, doing his training for radio repair and will be done in April.

22. One of my closest friends just went to Ft. Leonard Wood
He says he's interested in being an intel officer, but like as not the recruitment people have lied to him and he's going to Iraq. It makes me profoundly sad to know that he thinks he is making a genuine contribution to the good of our nation, but he's probably going to end up in the desert for Bush's lies.

13. Crying because someone said "No!" to him?
Crying because of a chronic,untreated mental/emotional/psychiatric pathology?

Crying because of frustration of not having alcohol as a crutch?

Crying because of his entire life being dedicated to assisting others become rich and powerful while destroying the lives of others (and not getting enough compensation for his trouble)?

14. SHAME. Bush is a Deserter from the National Guard. In the presence of a
real hero, he can only muster shame shame shame. That's where the tears came from.

By the way, where was his shameful sidekick: Dick 'Five Military Deferments' Cheney?

How can these chickenhawk republicons pretend to be leaders of our sons and daughters in uniforms?

I would not follow either one of them to a convenience store, never mind into an Oil Profits War to enrich republicon cronies.

21. Dangerous tears
I hope it is only self pity hypocritically directed but I wonder if the people he already has condemned to die in the near future make him weep for the necessity as well. Tears of a man intending to keep the coffins coming.

Or onion juice in his secret headphone pack. Maybe someone is piping in "The Giving Tree" to help him get into wet gear.
