What does this graph say to you about politics, education, religion and reason?
Edited on Fri Jan-12-07 10:18 AM by BurtWorm

The percentage of respondents believing in human evolution is plotted simultaneously against political view (conservative, moderate, liberal), education (high school or less, some college, graduate school), and respondent's religious denomination (fundamentalist or not). Belief in evolution rises along with political liberalism, independently of control variables.

I only wonder if self-described conservatives and moderates can possibly think the trends reflected in this graph are something they can be proud of.

3. probably. They always find a way to be proud about ignorance
yet will be the first to decry that someone else (ie: black people, women, and Mexicans usually) is too lazy or ignorant.

It amazes me. Thanks for the link!

4. All Fundamentalists should be required to attend grad school

... particularly in the area of evolution.
