Doesn't it seem surreal reading the posts ?
I sit here to while away time and read most of the posts here .

By the end of a few hours and each day I end up shaking my head and have to thing this stuff just can't be real , it really can't .

It's not like picking up a newspaper many years ago and reading about regular news . It's worse or at least comparable to the very old look magazines when they were huge magazines and I recall the one with all the photo's of the camps and mass graves with all the written horrid details when the Jews were murdered by the thousands .

This is how I feel now only then I was a kid , of course I was horrified , stall am . But now this mass death and unreasonable cause for it is something I never thought I would see ever again yet alone seeing it all on a computer , this was a device I only saw in science fiction movies or the older tv shows based on futureistic events .

There was an old show called science fiction theator .

1. I liken it more to the Twilight Zone
We're using our computers to read the script...which is unfinished but explains how we got to where we are....

2. I was watching MSNBC for a bit today....
They were talking about the devastation of Iraq and the bombing of the Nomads in Somalia...

Then, the very next story was about Kate Milligan, I guess she is dating one of the Princes over there in England..

And I started thinking, boy MSNBC has no sense of perspective...

By running that crap after a serious story with long range implications, it serves to elevate the ridiculous to the sublime...

4.  I suppose they think
If they run the horrid issues then they can wash this all away with the pop issues of who the hell cares .

It's like the commercials , a war is going on and they show a family all in the comfort of a fake home watching tv and having snacks or the latest sale at sears or some such store .

I gave up on tv years ago after their wonderful cover of the attack on Iraq .

7. Boy, your right on ,,,
I see it as well, the only thing, the silver lining I can think of, is you and me with like minded people everywhere, making this world a place we want for everyone.
And that's worth all my time here in this world.
