We Need to Make it Common Knowledge that Bush has gone insane |
|
Just as we got the word out throughout America so that it is now the accepted wisdom that Bush lied about WMDs, we need to make it common knowledge that Bush has gone insane. And I mean we need to talk literally. I truly believe that this man has snapped from the pressures of a failed war, and has serious mental issues that are dangerous to our nation. He may involve us in a deeper war.
Just watching him last night, his affect is all wrong. He laughs and smiles inappropriately, says he is not disturbed by what is going on, refuses to face reality about the war, AND thinks he is a king or emperor. He has delusions of grandeur, and will not face reality.
Pass the word - in 6 months, it will be accepted wisdom.

3. When asked about all the mistakes, the death and destruction... |
|
and aren't you crushed by the weight of all that...
The pResident responded "My spirit is fine!"
no remorse for the loss of innocent life, no guilt for the bad decisions and lies that got us into this, no regret on just leaving the situation in Iraq alone (there were no terrorists there, Saddam had no dealings with terrorists).
He is a true sociopath (as I understand the definition).

4. I believe you understand the definition perfectly. |
|
Plus, he most likely has some other overlapping personality disorders.

8. Yes, several overlapping personality disorders |
|
He is like a walking diagnostic manual.
-Narcissism, paranoia, and sociopathy. -Drug use and abuse. -Also some dementia, either due to the drug abuse or another medical condition.
(His rigid rule about not being bothered after 9pm may be because he is drunk by that time??)
He is decompensating, becoming more angry and paranoid as the public no longer feeds his narcissism. Becoming more and more out of touch with reality and entering his own fantasy world.

5. Good god. I wish you were joking. |

There is no tragedy that could befall this walking piece of crap that would make me feel sorry for him. There is no misery that he does not deserve.

14. He's winning hearts and minds with that answer, isn't he? |
|
:sarcasm: He's nothing more than a heartless bastard and last night's interview on CBS should leave no doubt in anyone's mind about that. Anyone with an ounce of compassion that is.

7. His demeanor was truly frightening - totally inappropriate for the topic. |
|
I agree his state of mind - in the psychiatric sense - needs to be a topic of serious conversation.

9. I will say that I am really mixed up as now he is saying some ---- |
|
thing so odd. Has any one ever heard any one from the far right say that we should turn our army over to control by the UN? Hell no, but to turn it over to al Madike it is OK? They are still yelling about the few in Europe that Clinton sent in with the UN.. Now we are going to let Iraq do this and it is their plan? And on top of all the nutty stuff Iraq does not like what we are going to do? How can they not like it if it is what Iraq has planned. This is like a old Keystone cops movie. And Curly and Moe are trying to explain it to us.

10. I beg to differ, because |
|
he doesn't quite demonstrate (yet) the bizarre, babbling on the street corner/eating feces behavior that Americans have long associated with "insane."
Personality disorders are more subtle and pervasive but the phrase is less used in popular language. It takes a more discriminating eye to spot them. And, he is kept under wraps much of the time.
Upshot: the label "insane" doesn't quite sell (yet).
I'll stick with scary, flaky, weird, and paranoid for now.

13. Well, we have to make it understandable |
|
Call it a personality disorder if that sounds better, but we must get this out into the language of everyday Americans who are not political.

11. I always refer to him as "mentally ill". |
|
It's obviously true. So I just refer to it in passing as if it's an acknowledged fact. Which it should be - jeez, just look at the guy! He's clearly off kilter.

15. The surge speech vs. 60 Minutes |
|
What a frightenting difference between the two psychopathic demeanors displayed: one during his disconnected surge speech and the other during his smirk-fest 60 Minutes interview. Very bizarre indeed. Please take him away!
