Bush*s cabinet/inner circle
Sometimes I wonder what they talk about.
Since he weeded out the so called 'independent thinkers' like O'Neil and Powell.
Everybody in his cabinet and certainly his 'inner circle' of friends and advisers are all part of the Bush** cult of personality now.
True blue and loyal to a fault.
The Leader Is Always Right.

So when it's just the inner sanctum, do they ever say anything like "Jesus Kee-rist how did we screw this up so bad? Day-yum, we REALLY messed up. FUBAR. WHOA! I didn't think THAT would happen. What the hell went wrong and how the hell are we gonna bail ourselves out?"

Or do they say the same self deluding bullshit they put out for the media and the public. "We're doing a great job. Everything's OK. No sweat. It's just fine."

I guess I'm just curious as to whether they actually believe their own line.
And I guess I'll never know.
What do you think?

1. While I would like to believe
they actually think they screwed up, I honestly don't think they have a clue and can't see any mistakes they have made and will continuously think they are ok, the world's all wrong.

2. Screwed up? They didn't screw up. Seriously. They didn't.

They have attained a permanent war as a backdrop for maintaining their dictatorship.

They have kept Iraqi oil off the market while preserving it and dividing its ownership up among their oil-company sponsors.

They have diverted many billions from the US treasury into their own pockets and those of their friends.

The only real problems they are encountering are due to the Democratic ascension. Their only real mistake was in not cheating hard enough in November 2006. As a result, they're having to put on this big surge thing in order to get one last, major dip out of the treasury and get those contracts signed giving the major oil companies irrevocable rights to the Iraqi oil.
