.. doing all that it can do in Iraq (regarding the "surge") in order to get us cheap gas.

:wtf:

No. He was not being sarcastic.. just a little slip back to his former days.

Share points in the market is what counts to Big Eddy, and now that most of the stations carrying him have moved the time of his show up against Rush, Big Eddy has to go a little neocon to get some of Rush's market share.

1. Some context would be nice. It could've been a sarcastic comment.

7. He was discussing the "surge".
He was opining on so many Americans not supporting the surge, but that the Bush admin is doing all that it can to get us cheap gas prices.

It was not sarcastic.

It was Ed reverting to neocon mode.

6. Oh yes, this is about cheap gas...
Edited on Tue Jan-16-07 08:07 PM by originalpckelly
you didn't know that?

The price of gas will skyrocket and possibly put America into a depression when Iraq fails. Our efforts now are merely slowing down the inevitable.

I don't think we ought to be killing people over a fucking natural resource.

8. No, but I didn't turn my radio off soon enough to avoid hearing

that the asshole blames the health care crisis on the 51% of women who are now living alone. They should want to have loving partners, he says. A guy who will cover them under his insurance. And I thought I just heard him wrong. Nope. He said it again later.

I hate him. He's such a complete blowbag.

:puke:

10. Not about getting us cheap gas ...
inflating the price of oil to get massive profits for the oil companies ...

Plus, as another poster pointed out, if the goal really was "to get US cheap gas", then Bush is being true to form ... like stimulating the economy ... (like a sledgehammer to the head cures a headache ...)
