An open letter to Representative Joseph Wilson R - SC who appeared on CSPAN today. |

Representative Wilson
I saw you on CSPAN this morning. No amount of your flag waving and sloganeering can cover up the lies told by the Bush administration from the fall of 2000 when it stole the first of 2 stolen Presidential elections with the help of voter suppression in Florida by KKKatherine Harris and Jeb Bush. Of course the fire fighters and policemen in New York did the best job they could. Of course the 2750 people who died never should have died, but these people died because George W Bush wanted oil and gas pipelines built across Afghanistan and the Taliban would not cooperate. 9-11 WAS NOT an inside job as one caller said. 9-11 was not planned either. But indeed George W Bush had provoked these 9-11 attacks and George W Bush belongs in the Hague for war crimes for invading Iraq and for provoking the 9-11 attacks for oil profits.
George W Bush had negotiated with the terrorist Taliban very early in the year 2001 for oil and gas pipeline projects. The Taliban would not go along. In July 2001, The Bush administration quietly made it known to the Taliban that an invasion of Afghanistan would come in August or Sept 2001. The Taliban did not wait for the US to invade Afghanistan. They struck us first. I have no respect for the Taliban and I have no respect for the lying and cheating Bush misadministration for provoking the 9-11 attacks.
I supported our troops then going into Afghanistan after the 9-11 attacks which the Republicans failed to defend against. Our troops overthrew an Afghanistan government which attacked us and also abused their people. Our troops should have continued to go after Osama Bin Laden which Republican administrations had befriended in the 1980's as a revolutionary to help oust the Russians from Afghanistan. Somehow Republican administrations befriend people and leaders which eventually do us harm. The former Panama leader Noriega, who resides in Prison, Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, and the deceased Ferdinand Marcos each had dealt with Republican administrations in the past 27 years. It does not appear like these people had no dealings with your party Mr. Wilson. They did. Your party has blood on its hands of dead innocent people. Now over 500,000 dead innocent Iraqi civilians blood appears on the hands of the Republican party because George W Bush wanted to invade Iraq in 2003 in part but a big part because of OIL. Alot of innocent people died by the hand of the OIL profit hungry Republican party. If you see this as an acusation and indictment of your party, Mr. Wilson, correct. Yes I accuse your party of caring more about oil than the lives of innocent people. I suppose you will say but Saddam appeared a terrible dictator. Correct, and the time to stop dealing with him occurred in 1983 when Donald Rumsfeld shook Saddam's hand all the way through 1987 when Saddam gassed his own people. The Republican party knew about the terrible dictator Saddam Hussein for 27 years and did nothing to stop him. Nothing.
On the subject of Iraq, Iraq never attacked us. Iraq never had anything to do with 9-11. George W Bush blatantly lied about the need to invade Iraq. George W Bush did not make a mistake about intelligence about Iraq. George W Bush and Dick Cheney blatantly lied about the need to invade Iraq. Sadam Hussein gassed his people in 1987 during the Reagan administration which did nothing to stop this gassing of the Kurds, yet George W Bush whined about years later in 2002 and 2003 as an EXCUSE to invade Iraq. Where did the concern for the Kurds exist in 1987 when Reagan served as President? Where?
The Republican party has alot of blood on its hands and no flag waving by you or sloganeering by you will wipe the bloody hands of your political party and its modern 20th century Godfather, the Dead Herbert Hoover.

3. I agree with most of your post, except the part about 9/11 not being an inside job... |
|
that has yet to be proven either way as there has been no real investigation. Even the ever-reasonable Thom Hartmann agrees with this assessment.

As loathsome as George W Bush and his administration acts and appears he did not plan the attacks and he did not just let them happen.
George W Bush and his administration had the Taliban come to Texas and they talked about building pipelines accross Afghanistan so it could go from the oil rich former Russian Republics north of Afghanistan down to the middle east. The Taliban would have none of this and Bush made it known in July 2001 that the US would bomb Afghanistan to the stone age for not cooperating. The Taliban decided not to wait and they attacked us first.
9-11 happened over OIL and oil profits for the Republican party and their friends.

I know about the Afghan pipeline business but the fact remains there has been no real investigation into 9/11. The official report was a political document and a total whitewash. Whether it was covering up incompetence, criminal negligence or some level of complicity we may never know. However, no one can say for certain who was or was not involved. We do know that they received a hell of a lot of warnings from many, many sources and did absolutely nothing.
That said, I totally agree with your other points and appreciate your post.

11. I agree that the 9-11 report appeared a whitewash. |

As far as Bush ignoring the warnings, I also agree and why did he ignore these warnings? If he had gone on television to announce that terrorists had plan to attack the US he would have had to tell us where they would come from. Then the press might have asked them why would Osama want to attack the US after all we had helped Osama oust the Russians from Afghanistan.
Would Bush want to have to admit he had secret dealings with the Taliban and that these threatened attacks came from people who would have gotten attacked by Bush who had planned to invade Afghanistan first? Not a chance.

4. An excellent, succinct review...K & R! |

Getting ANY RW'r to read, much less accept or believe these facts, is a huge task. But we all need to keep hammering the truth into their tiny brains. Well done, liberaldemocrat7! :toast:
