Rethugs claiming the last bill needs 3/5ths vote to pass. Please explain the tax rules re oil and gas for me. Section 199 is what they's using.

just what the applications of 199 are for this year.

It was enacted as part of the 2004 American Jobs Creation Act. Until recently, the only official guidance was that provided in Notice 2005-14, 100+ pages of technical information.

It is called the " Domestic Production Deduction"
