Poll question: If you could get a paid position on any 2008 campaign, who would you work for?
Say you're a young, recent poli sci graduate who just received an email saying "they are all suiting up, you want a job? For a presidential candidate or a senatorial candidate? Let me know, I can get you a job if you want."

Seems like you'd want to pick someone who will go "all the way" either as prez or VP.

Which campaign should he join.

1. I'd work for the Re-puke candidate
not too efficiently, and with regular transmissions to Howard Dean.

6. Of course you're joking
Since what you describe is illegal and would rightly make you throw conniptions if it were done by a Republican operative to Democratic candidates. Oh yeah, something like that was done in the 1972 election... related maneuvers went down in history as Watergate.

Long as we're doing fantasies here (paid position!) my pick is Bob Bowman.

16. Don't be so sure
This stuff happens all the time in races a lot smaller than Presendential ones. I've caught 3 spies in my time as a campaign hand.

2. the follow-up question: is there a tacit assumption you'd want a job
in Washington D.C. from 2008 - 2016?

12. actually, we aren't dreaming...or at least he's not
he wants to work for Obama but I'm afraid the star will fade to fast (and there is the "can a black be elected" problem). But if does go with someone who doesn't make it through the primaries, he can get on to law school sooner! But honestly, if he could work for someone who will be president, law school can wait!

18. President Al Gore.
If he doesn't run, I'm looking seriously at Obama and Clark.

Hell, I'll work gratis for any of them.
