Will the fascists manage to steal the next election, as well? It's hard to be optimistic, after what they've done so far.

8. In my cheerier moments, I agree
I was anticipating very comfortable victories for the good guys in 2000 and 2004 as well, though, and my innate pessimism keeps popping up.

Before the 2006 elections, I was up and down, and I posted here on DU that I expected another stolen election but would be delighted to be wrong. I was wrong, and I was delighted. So I guess I feel the same way about 2008.
