He is saying that Bush is a dictator, etc,

Anybody that can watch it when it is rebroadcast really should.

Of course, Tweety has fooled me in the past, but I'm really beginning to think he might have finally seen the light - with Keith's help.

That laugh at the beginning of Keith's show is Tweety. Tweety and Keith seem to be good buds and are doing more coverage together now.

2. I think Tweety is frightened of this admin, and rightly so. After dimson's
last speech when he mentioned Iran/Syria, Tweets went deathly white. He looked like he'd seen a ghost.

4. Yes, something was said at that press briefing that scared a lot of them.
They were all a bit off center later that night. Brian Williams was also visibly concerned.

They know something, saw something, heard something, that scared them. And they can't just come right out and tell us what it is.

We need a new, improved Fairness Doctrine.

19. I'll bet not about Iran, but having to do with Bush the human, like a major
memory lapse or verbal gaffe or some psycho moment.

Tomorrow, or maybe even later on in this show, Tweets may do a 180 and figuratively slam a democrat or figuratively kiss-up to a Neo-Con scum like Pearle.

Know this: Tweety is totally unpredictable and and part of the journalistic elite within the beltway.

Yes, he's showing some courage today but don't bet your next paycheck on a true change in perspective on tweety's part. Remember, he wants to be invited to ALL (conservative as well as liberal) the PARTIES hosted by the D.C. elite.

Like Radar says, "Wait for it!?!" ---> Tweety's sure to disappoint. :hi:

5. Yeah. He's seen the light alright and which way the political winds are blowing.

After he and all his warmongering talking heads spent years cheerleading and shilling for this administration, I wonder if any of them feel GUILTY now?

Tweety IS against this invasion NOW though. I guess that's a good thing. It took long enough.

7. .
I think "Tweety" had a problem with this war for several years. I don't know how vocal he was about it or whether he was against it from the beginning but from old videos one feels that he knows that there is something wrong about it.

12. Mission Accomplished? His praise of B* for that egregious
display? If he 'knew something was wrong' he certainly fooled me.

6. It's not "liberal" to say what Matthews is saying
It's what any informed, responsible American should be saying, regardless of party.

8. Matthews has pickets up his ass..(he's been on the fence that long)
He sways with whatever breeze is blowing.

If Junior's poll ratings were still high, he would be swooning again about "how great he looks in those jeans".

I actually have more respect for the hard-line reactionaries.. at least you always know where they stand..

9. He sounds like a liberal TODAY...
Let's see what happens tomorrow, or an hour for now.

I agree with several posters...he wets his finger, holds it up to see which way the wind is blowing. He's fooled me too many times in the past. In the immortal words of a Decider: "Fool me once...you can't get fooled again"

10. Snort! He and Scarborough. (but there might be some truth to
that, and the more cynical on DU would state that it's because Tweety and Scarface are comparing their rating numbers with those of K.O.)

13. There was a time before Clinton that Tweety was a raving liberal.
I don't know why he turned when Clinton became president, but he sure picked the wrong horse to bet on with Bush. I don't know if I'm ready to welcome him back though. He has been part of that corrupt propaganda system that has kept Bush in power.

If the R's get their swagger back within Matthew's career he'll blow back where he came from.

17. Tweety just realizes that if we don't get rid of Bush, he's either going to die...
or else he'll have to forage for food in a post-apocalypse nightmare to feed his big fat tweety-face.
