20 dead in one day of George Bush's war against everybody
The sun came out today after a week of depressing winter weather. I thought I would feel reborn after a very dismal week, but twenty dead in one day would put a damper on any positive thoughts. I don’t even want to think about the twenty families that will deal with what happened in one dark day for the rest of their lives. A deluded few of them will talk about what their loved ones did for us and our freedom. God damn it, I don’t want anyone dying in an illegal, unjust, insane war for my freedom. The only threat to my freedom is coming from the criminally incompetent lunatic that was set on the throne in a botched election and kept there through blatant abuse of our democratic institutions. They died because that asshole has no concept of freedom.

If I hear one more time that the terrorists win and the troops suffer if we don’t stand behind the madmen sending our kids off to die, I will explode in a fit of long overdue rage. We put an incompetent substance abuser in charge of our country and he is screwing up the entire world. Any possibility that sanity could have intervened was long ago vetoed by the grim reaper who is nominally the second in command. As much as I have come to loathe everything George Bush stands for, I must not forget that his vanity and madness are fueled by a dark figure that I would really not want to have a beer with. The dark heart of Dick Cheney makes a welcome sunny day just another grim day among the many we have suffered under these bastards. I want them both to immediately begin filling out the rest of their days trying to explain in their memoirs why they tried so hard to bring America down. I want them relegated to the brutal treatment history must afford them.

My tears have proven useless and my words have had little effect. If the revolution I voted for last November does not put an immediate end to this madness, tell me where I can go to put my life on the line in defiance of tyranny. I’ve had enough.

1. "tell me where I can go to put my life on the line in defiance of tyranny"
When you find out, let me know. I'll stand beside you. I'd enjoy the company.

I wish I had the faith and courage to do it alone, like Thich Quang Duc.

4. Of 1,402 days occupying Iraq, this has been the 3rd deadliest day.
More American troops dies this day than in 1,399 other days.
