That bobble-head libby dole: "Is there anything the Democrats won't do?"
Edited on Sat Feb-04-06 02:01 AM by Skip Intro
Somehow I got on her mailing list. Hadn't heard from her in a while. Maybe she was on a viagra vacation?

The Constitution - which she SWORE to protect and uphold - is being shredded by those she promotes, and she's whining that some Democrats actually had the courage to act upon their convictions, and hold true to their pledge.

Goddamned hypocritical bag.

Anyway, I post this to show how utterly pitiful those bush-bot traitors are. See if it incenses you as it did me:

--------------

Is there anything the liberal Democrats won't do to obstruct our progress or hurt President Bush politically?

Any reasonable person might think there has to be some line they won't cross, but I'm not so sure.

Consider what the Democrats tried to do to Justice Samuel Alito at the end of the confirmation process.

Liberal Senators John Kerry, Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton tried to rally their fellow left-wingers to filibuster Judge Alito's confirmation to the Supreme Court...even though they had NO CHANCE OF WINNING!

So why did these liberals drag their feet...delaying and obstructing to the end?

The reason is as petty as it is partisan.

The liberal Democrats simply wanted to deny President Bush and our Senate Majority a victory prior to the President's State of the Union address.

I'm not making this up.

The Washington Post reported several days ago that "Democrats are trying to deny the White House that victory as long as possible...though Senate rules do not enable them to defer the confirmation vote until after the speech, Democratic Senators would like to reduce the victory period immediately before the speech."

And liberal Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid's spokesman confirmed it, saying "That's part of the strategic calculation." They did in fact delay the Judiciary Committee vote for a week.

This petty partisanship is just one more reason why we cannot afford to let the Democrats regain majority control of the United States Senate.

And it is also a good reason why we need to prepare for another no-holds-barred, scorched earth campaign by the Democrats this November.

Please take a moment right now to help strengthen and support our Republican Senate Majority by making a contribution of $25, $50, $100, $500 or $1,000 by clicking below:

1. My husband's new response
Whenever these wingnuts start complaining about all the problems, he reminds them they have control. They always come back with Democrats are partisan, obstructionists and fighing them on everything. My husband now says, "Well yeah, but you're winning all the fights." Puts it all right back in their lap. They've got no one else to blame anymore.

2. Dizzy Liddy had her chance to lead but was soon exposed as a dud. The folk
in North Carolina will be kicking her tired ass to the curb when she attempts a 2nd term.

4. from your keyboard to God's ears
I used to deliver countertops and marble to Salisbury. Let me tell you, it was one uptight white provincial town. Out in the sticks, insulated, isolated. I was never surprised that she came from that town.

7. Poor George Buxh was just minding his own business
protecting us from terrorists and those mean Democrats keep calling him on
the failed war in Iraq
judicial activism
illegal wiretaps
unethical campaign contributions
restricting freedom through the Patriot Act
Appointing unqualified cronies to security positions
A dismal budget policy that resulted in bankruptcy

I could go on, but I don't want to sound "partisan".
