Let me be the first to say it: I hope they spied on me |
|
Matter-of-fact, I hope that they spied on me and are waiting outside to drag me away in handcuffs because of something they heard on my phone calls. I'm looking forward to the day when someone (anyone) is arrested based on this warrantless, covert, domestic spying operation because that will be the day when the courts finally get their say. That will be the day when the ivory towers coming crashing down.
Since 2000, I've made and received phone calls from France, Germany, Canada and the UK. I tip my glass to the government official who has enough balls to actually arrest me for anything I've said during those conversations. I not only anticipate the legal showdown, but my mouth waters whenever I think about it.

1. You're making the assumption you'll be allowed to have a "legal showdown" |

That's so pre 9/11.
How do we know that Americans haven't already been whisked away to Bush's Freedom Camps? The way things work now, we will never know.
