Brownie to sing today
Edited on Fri Feb-10-06 10:09 AM by Botany

No way to keep the facts under control now, Mr. Rove.
Katrina
Plame/Libby/Cheney
Iraq lies to get us into the war and the war
Abramoff

All happening now. I got it, how about a story of a man w/ a shoe bomb
blowing up then he rushes the cockpit on one leg.

When The Levee Breaks
(Bonham/Jones/Page/Plant/Memphis Minnie)

If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break, (X2)
When The Levee Breaks I'll have no place to stay.

Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan, (X2)
Got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home,
Oh, well, oh, well, oh, well.

Don't it make you feel bad
When you're tryin' to find your way home,
You don't know which way to go?
If you're goin' down South
They go no work to do,
If you don't know about Chicago.

Cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do you no good,
Now, cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do you no good,
When the levee breaks, mama, you got to move.

All last night sat on the levee and moaned, (X2)
Thinkin' about me baby and my happy home.
Going, going to Chicago... Going to Chicago... Sorry but I can't take you...
Going down... going down now... going down...

2. Don't bet the rent on that
He's a team player, a good old boy, loyal to the last. A simple "Brownie, don't sing" will be enough to silence him.

However, the public demand for a payoff was priceless. The damage has been done. The public, stupid as some of them are, now know that Stupid had something to hide and that Brownie had enough to blackmail him.

3. I think he's pissed.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him shit all over Bush. He took responsibility (presumably at Bush's request) and it got him nowhere, so I think today is when payback comes.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope I'm right.

Joe Lieberman lets him off lightly and sets him up comfortably to spout bad memory and "context" and fake outrage.

Lord, Coleman is trying to slam him down for personal blame. Which will leave the WH out of it. SOOoooo. Brownie brings in the WH to back him up.

Neat, very neat. No one stops this weird dance. Jabbing in and out against brown. Giving him space. Shielding the WH overall.

Let's see. Is there anyone on this committee who will end the charade?

To put is clearly: The tendency is to go soft(Dems) on Brown but not push him on the WH involvement or go tough(GOP) on Brown and not challenge on the WH involvement. Thereby Brown can alternate with dummying up and outrage by leaning on the WH he need not expose and which the GOP run committee seems loathe to touch.

And Joe Lieberman can mildly sit back and take some sort of high road to nowhere. As is Akaka in his opening remarks. The other weirdness here is that Brown is slugging away with bravado at the GOP members. Weird, but if there are no consequences who cares?

Yukkk.
